///And finally it's time for Murkkusaari, the Ant Island! This might be actually from the year 2002 and not 2001 like I've always thought. When I look at my handwriting it actually has improved from the previous ones and I think I had it like that when I was 11. But it means this comic is now 10-years old! Murkkusaari's style is also much more clear than the previous ones. Still there's pretty much the same themes - royals, bullied princess, growing up pics, clothes and fine hair (YES, my female ants had hair! :D). At first I'll show few others related to Murkkusaari.
PRE-MURKKUSAARI
Nää on vaan jotain eri vihosta, oli itseasiassa joku "Oma vihko" koulussa, ku pein aina piirrustusvihkoa ala-asteella pulpetissa. Voi olla et oon vaan piirrelly sarjakuvan murkkuja huvin vuoks, TAI sit sarjis on voinu kehittyä näistä. Ei voi muistaa.

These are from different notebook. It was some "Own notebook" I used to have at school for drawing and I kept it in the school desk. It might be that I've just drawn ants from the comic just for fun, OR then the comic was actually born from these.
Tosi vaalee kuva, mut tossa on joku prinsessä tuolla ikkunassa ja ajattelee "Huomaa!" ku vilkuttelee tolle ihastukselleen, joka istuu vallihaudan reunalla. Toi joku random murkku tuolla sisällä kysyy "Saanko prinsessan?" eli on joku kilpakosija. Sitä en tiedä, miks tuolla vedessä lilluskelee hyttynen :D Okei se on olevinaan hai, mut en sit parempaa keksiny :D
///Really light picture, but there's princess up there at the window of the castle, waving for her crush who's sitting on the edge of the moat. She's thinking "Notice me!". In the castle there some another ant asking someone (who I never drew there) "Can I have the princess?" so it must be a rival. One thing actually disturbs me: why on earth there's a mosquito diving in the water??? It tries to be like a shark, but really, a mosquito? :D

Eli tää on sitä itteään, se aito ja alkuperänen (ja ainoa) Murkkusaari. Alotetaan kannella koska toi vihko on vaan niin legendaarinen ku se on kaikenlisäks miun lempiväri! :D Toi kulki aina mukana koulussakii ja piirtelin tota vähän millon sattuu, nii kotona ku koulussa.

So this is the original (and only) Murkkusaari. Let's get started with the cover 'cause this notebook just is so legendary (for me) and also my favorite color! I had this always with me in the school, and I was drawing the comic at school as well as at home.
Alussa on tässäkii vaan jotain random sählää. Toi on joku "linnan läpileikkaus".

Helou! Kaikenlaiset kommentit piristää paljon, ku kyseessä on kuitenkii perfektionisti "taitelija", joka ei paljoa omiin kykyihin usko eikä ymmärrä osaavansa jopa jotain ku kaiken pitäs olla niin täydellistä :)
